Behavior Modification & Rehabilitation
Specialized training for aggression, reactivity, anxiety, and fear-based behaviors
Not every dog needs obedience. Some dogs need rehabilitation. If your dog lunges at other dogs, growls at strangers, hides from noises, or has bitten before, you're not alone. And your dog is not "bad." They're struggling. I can help.
With 11 years of veterinary experience, I don't just train around the problem. I identify the root cause, pain, fear, trauma, or medical issues, and build a custom rehabilitation plan. Many owners come to me as a last resort.
I treat every case as a fresh start.

Program Overview
Program Name: Behavior Program
Duration: Custom (typically 4-8 weeks minimum)
Price Range: Custom Pricing (based on assessment)
Format: Board & Train (in-home) + follow up sessions
What i treat:
✓ Aggression (dog-to-dog): Lunging, barking, snarling, or fighting with other dogs.
✓ Aggression (dog-to-human): Growling, snapping, biting, or fear-based reactivity toward people
✓ Reactivity: Over-the-top responses to triggers — dogs, people, bikes, cars, sounds
✓ Anxiety: Separation anxiety, noise phobias (thunder, fireworks), generalized fear
✓ Fear-based behaviors: Hiding, trembling, cowering, submissive urination, shutdown
✓ Resource guarding: Protecting food, toys, beds, or people aggressively
✓ Obsessive behaviors: Tail chasing, spinning, shadow chasing, self-mutilation
My approach (Why its different)
Most trainers focus on obedience commands like "sit" and "stay." That doesn't work for a dog who is terrified or ready to fight.
Medical first
I look for pain, thyroid issues, neurological problems, or hidden illness. Many "aggressive" dogs are actually in pain
No dominance theory
I don't alpha roll, shock, or intimidate. Fear-based methods make aggression worse
In-home environment
Your dog lives with me. I see their real behavior 24/7 — not just in a 1-hour session
Custom protocols
Every dog gets a unique plan. No cookie-cutter fixes.
Owner education
You'll learn how to maintain progress, read your dog's body language, and prevent setbacks.

The Process
Simple, transparent, and designed for your peace of mind.

Do I Accept Every Dog?
Honesty matters. I don't accept every behavior case
I will likely accept your dog if:
✓ The behavior is fear-based, anxiety-driven, or reactive
✓ You're committed to follow-through at home
✓ Your dog is medically cleared (no untreated pain or illness)
I may decline your dog if:
✓ There's a history of severe, unprovoked bites to humans
✓ Your dog has a medical condition causing behavior that training can't fix
✓ You're unwilling to make changes at home (management matters)
